About UsFAQs

Some common questions that the Aster Tuition team get asked. If you have anything more specific please feel free to contact us.
Why should I choose Aster Tuition?

We have accumulated decades of experience and our tutors deliver lessons to an exceptionally high standard. We work with our parents every step of the way to support and guide our students. We promise a level of care and attention, alongside outstanding teaching, that is second to none.

What makes your team stand out?

We wanted to set up a boutique tutoring company which allowed us to use our unparalleled experience of teaching to deliver outstanding lessons. The team’s knowledge of their subject area, gleaned over many decades of teaching, ensures that every student who receives tutoring from us will be given an outstanding tutoring experience.

How do you deliver lessons?

We use a virtual classroom which has a whiteboard to replicate the in class experience and allows tutor and tutee to write on and upload resources. There is also the facility to record the lesson so that students can look through key elements of the lesson in their own time.

What levels do you provide for?

We cater to all abilities and have an excellent track record in preparing children for the 7+, 11+, 13+ Common Entrance exams as well as SATs, GCSE, IGCSE, International Baccalaureate and A-Levels. We also offer tutoring support for the UK ISET exam for international students looking to come to school in the UK.

Will I receive feedback on my child’s progress?

Yes – our tutors will give regular and useful feedback. After every lesson parents will receive an email outlining what has been covered in the lesson along with developmental points which will form the basis of future lessons. Parents will also receive longer written feedback on a monthly basis which is broken down into the different areas of English.

Do you offer any additional support?

Alongside tutoring we also offer interview practice preparation and a full pastoral package of support to mentor and guide our students.
